Once upon a time Curt Rosengren was a Professional Malcontent. He felt frustrated and stuck in his career as a marketing guy, and never lasted more than two years in any one job.
That all changed in 2001 when, in a career free-fall as a self-unemployed marketing consultant during the dot com implosion, he discovered his Passion Catalyst TM work. Since then, as a coach, writer, and speaker, he has been on fire with the desire to help people answer three questions:
- What lights me up?
- What difference do I feel called to make?
- How do I weave that into a career and a life that energizes and inspires me?
The first decade of his Passion Catalyst work was focused primarily on how to live a fully energized life. He developed several models as a framework for helping people find passion in their career and energize their lives overall.
Through it all, there has been one thing lurking in the back of his mind – the mind-bogglingly huge potential we have to make a difference, both individually and collectively. The Ripple Revolution had it seeds in that obsession.
The Ripple Revolution framework takes the focus of those first ten years – living an energized life – and puts it at the heart of a system that takes that energy and puts it to work out in the world.
Curt is the author of the e-books The Occupational Adventure Guide and 101 Ways to Get Wild About Work.
And of course, there’s the non-work dimension to his world. He loves just about anything that involves exploration and discovery. Currently based in Seattle, he loves travel and has lived in five countries at various times in his life (US, UK, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, in that order). He speaks reasonably fluent Swedish, functionally ugly Spanish, and can read French reasonably well.
