So you’re sitting there looking at your life, and you think, “I have a hankerin’ to do some good.” (OK, maybe you wouldn’t actually think “hankerin'” – that’s probably just me).
“Maybe a little volunteering would be just the ticket,” you think. So you start pondering how to find just the right opportunity. And then you start thinking about just how many ways to volunteer there must be, and how much time it’s going to take to look for them and find the right one.
Right about that time, you decide to look in the refrigerator, sure that there must be something in there that would help you think. So you get up, and realize the dog is out of water, and that you still need to take the clothes out of the dryer. And before you know it, it’s next Tuesday and you still don’t have any idea how you’re going to volunteer.
Fear not, o intrepid Ripple Revolutionary! All for Good is here to save the day. It’s a great online clearing house for volunteer opportunities in your area. Just plug in a search term (like hunger, or environment), hit the arrow, and presto! Up comes a bucketload o’ opportunities to make the world a better place in a way you care about. Or, just click on “search opportunities” for everything in your area.
Pick one, and you’re off to the races, ready to make a difference. No muss, no fuss.
Groovy, eh?
